Ages 9-15
This will make a great holiday gift idea for your budding chef! We will dive in depth with a 6 series set of classes on the fundamentals every home chef should know. Each class is 3 hours in length, and we will only have 8 participants per session. Payment is for all 6 classes, and we will be offering this again after the first 6 are complete. Please understand there are no refunds for missed classes.

Curriculum:
Week 1-Knife skills: How to hold a knife, knife safety, learn to cut – Onions, Celery, Carrots, Parsley, and Potatoes
Week 2-Proteins: Steak – learn temperatures, how to grill, cut properly, Whole Chicken – break down, learn how to cook to temp, fish cooking and seasoning
Week 3-Breads/Breakfast: 1 hr. Rolls, Biscuits, Cooking Eggs – poached, scrambled, boiled, fried, omelet
Week 4- Pasta: Fettuccine, Tortellini, Ravioli, Cream and Red sauce
Week 5- Baking: Layered Cake, Frosting – piping skills, Cheesecake
Week 6- Vegetables / Sides: Learn to cook an assortment of vegetables and sides. Mexican street corn, Twice baked potatoes, Grilled vegetable skewers
NOTE: If you are purchasing an event for kids (under 18), you will need to complete the Kids’ Waiver, which will be included in your confirmation email.
